Fredericksburg, VA – On Saturday September 17th, Rio Car Wash hosted a charity car wash event at both of its Fredericksburg area locations, 70 Sebring Dr. in Fredericksburg, VA and 10050 Jefferson Davis Highway in Massaponax, VA. 100 percent of the proceeds from that day’s washes went to benefit Empower House, a non-profit organization providing confidential domestic violence assistance in the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline.

Proceeds from that days washes totaled $6,833.00. “We were thrilled with the outcome of this year’s event – it is the largest donation we have ever made to Empower House and it is our honor to help such a great cause for a fourth year in a row,” said Jeff Small, owner of Rio Car Wash. “Empower House is an organization that we at Rio Car Wash are passionate about. We are glad to make this donation and also provide more exposure for Empower House and their mission of helping individuals in our community.”
