RIO Car Wash will open its seventh location on June 10, 2020 at 7408 W. Broad St. in Richmond, VA. RIO will celebrate this newest location with 19 days of free car washes and specials on unlimited wash club memberships.

The car wash will feature a 136’ tunnel and 18 vacuum bays. Customers purchase wash packages at pay station terminals and remain in their vehicles while the wash process is completed inside the tunnel. Patrons can then use free vacuums to clean the interior of their vehicle. Vending machines are available with additional aftercare products.

Surfaces are being regularly cleaned and sanitized, including pay station touch screens and vacuum areas. Staff is trained and practicing COVID-19 safe protocols.

There are six wash packages to choose from, ranging in price from $4 to $20. RIO Car Wash also offers unlimited monthly wash club memberships, starting at $10 per month. Club membership allows customers to wash every day, for one monthly price. A majority of RIO customers choose wash clubs over single washes because they offer a greater value for frequent washers.

“We have found great success with our car wash operations throughout Virginia and this newest location will continue to extend the RIO brand in the Richmond area,” said owner Neil Small. “We are a Virginia-based, veteran-owned company that is committed to delivering a superior car wash experience. This includes a great car wash and friendly service by a knowledgeable, well-trained team,” Neil added.

The RIO Car Wash brand includes two locations in the Fredericksburg area, three in Richmond and two in Virginia Beach. The company is committed to supporting the communities it serves through various fundraisers, including the annual Empower House fundraiser which has raised more than $25,000, and Trunk or Treat, a free event for families to enjoy a safe Halloween at the Midlothian Turnpike location.
