RIO Car Wash Conducts Fifth Annual Charity Car Wash and raises $7181.00 to benefit Empower House

Fredericksburg, VA – On Saturday September 28, 2018, Rio Car Wash hosted a charity car wash event at both of its Fredericksburg area locations, 70 Sebring Dr. in Fredericksburg and 10050 Jefferson Davis Highway in Massaponax. 100 percent of the wash sales went to benefit Empowerhouse, a non-profit organization providing confidential domestic violence assistance in the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline.

Wash sales totaled $7,181.00. "We were thrilled with the outcome of this year’s event. We had an extremely busy day, and it resulted in a substantial donation to Empower House.,” said Jeff Small, owner of Rio Car Wash. “Empowerhouse is an organization that we at Rio Car Wash are passionate about. We are happy to make this donation and provide more exposure for the organization and their mission of helping individuals in our community.”

Kathy Anderson, Executive Director of Empowerhouse, was equally thrilled with the results of Saturday’s efforts. “We couldn’t be happier with the tremendous turnout for this event. This donation will have a large impact on our ability to carry out the crucial services Empowerhouse provides the community,” said Anderson.
